Recently, many new immigrants have visited the Taichung City Second Service Station of the Immigration Agency to inquire about the application process for the technician certificate reward. The service station reminds that new immigrants who have obtained a "Republic of China Technician Certificate" issued by the Ministry of Labor within the past three years (years 111, 112, or 113) in categories A, B, C, or a single-level certification can apply for the reward through the "New Immigrants and Their Children's Empowerment and Scholarship System" (https://sp.immigration.gov.tw/ before March 21.

The Immigration Agency promotes the "New Immigrants and Their Children's Empowerment and Scholarship Program" to encourage new immigrants to participate in skills certification and enhance workplace competitiveness. By providing rewards, the program aims to motivate learning and cultivate professional talent. Applications opened on February 21 this year. Applicants must first register an account in the system, complete the online application, then download and print the application form and affidavit. Director Chou Yu-Jen of the Taichung City Second Service Station stated that in addition to the technician certificate reward, the program also provides various scholarships. Eligible students can apply through their schools. New immigrants and their children are encouraged to seize this opportunity to enhance their personal development and career competitiveness.
