Three years in a row have taken place the Changhua Yuanlin Lantern Festival. On Lunar New Year's Eve, a limited number of commemorative silver coins featuring the twelve signs of the zodiac were given out by the city hall at 6:30 p.m. before the major lantern lighting ceremony began at 7:00 p.m. After the lighting ceremony, lucky bags are distributed.

One of the must-attend artistic and cultural activities of the Spring Festival has traditionally been the Yuejin Lantern Festival. It brings together domestic and international artists this year under the theme "Moonlight in the City" and schedules performances in 4 exhibition locations. Become an open-air museum of art.

The Lianchihtan (Lotus Pond) Scenic Area  will host the 2023 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival for the first time, marking a comeback to the regional lantern festival. Domestic and foreign visitors can see Lianchihtan (Lotus Pond), a renowned attraction of Kaohsiung city, from various perspectives by fusing the distinctive local cultural and geographic features with lantern installations of the Year of the Rabbit.

★Pingtung County︱2023 Pingtung Festival of Lights

This year's Pingtung Lantern Festival plans three significant illumination places (萬年溪、屏東縣民公園、勝利星村) by integrating landscape. With the theme of "Gorgeous Baroque", it incorporates the characteristics of Pingtung. The main light "Southern Light" which is 15 meters high and 50 meters long. surrounded by symphony music, colorful light shows, tulips, etc., creating a European-style courtyard atmosphere.

★Hualien County︱Hualien Pacific Ocean Lantern Festival

Known as "the most authentic  lantern festival in Taiwan", Hualien Pacific Ocean Lantern Festival takes "Jade Rabbit Double Happiness" as the main theme, and the main lantern is inspired by the moon, twin rabbits, and a gift box, representing "the best gift Hualien gives to Taiwan.” During the event, from 6:00 to 9:30 every night, there will be a main light show combining sound and light technology and water dance performances every 30 minutes, and there will be interactive performances on holidays.
