In the interview, Fan mentioned that she used to be an insurance salesperson. At first, it was very difficult to enter the insurance industry because of the need to obtain relevant licenses. Moreover, it is very challenging for foreigners to obtain Taiwanese insurance licenses, so Fan put in more effort in studying and memorizing. She then successfully becomes an insurance salesperson. Fan says that she helps her fellow sisters from Vietnam with the insurance knowledge she learned. At the same time, she continues improving her Chinese and helps other new residents as a translator and a person with considerable understandings of Taiwan laws learned while being an insurance salesperson.

After leaving the insurance industry, Fan decided to bring the "taste of hometown" to the treasure island, Taiwan. She set up a "French Vietnamese Frozen Yogurt" business in Zhongli, Taoyuan. Fan mentioned that Vietnam was once a French colony, so its food culture was influenced by France. Besides, her grandfather also served as a chef in a French restaurant back then. Therefore, when she was a child, her grandfather would make yogurt for her as snacks. After she comes to Taiwan, she misses the childhood taste, so she decided to sell the dessert "French Yogurt" and share this with people in Taiwan. The yogurt was fermented and made of natural ingredients, and it has a creamy texture. You can add a variety of fruits in to further enhance the flavor of this healthy yogurt.
