Amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has urged citizens to exercise caution when planning travel to the region. Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan are currently under an orange travel alert, and Taiwanese nationals are advised to avoid non-essential travel to these countries.

MOFA noted that travelers who must visit or transit through the region should remain vigilant, monitor security developments, and be aware of potential disruptions such as sudden airport closures caused by escalating conflicts.

Meanwhile, Iran, Israel, Lebanon, the Jordan–Syria border area, Syria, and Yemen are currently under a red travel alert. The ministry strongly advises citizens to refrain from traveling to these destinations due to high security risks.
