To help children of new immigrants and young students explore future career opportunities, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) is organizing the 2026 New Immigrant Children Multicultural Career Exploration Camp. The northern and central sessions have already been held or are underway, while the Southern Session, scheduled for August 4, will be the final event of this year's program. Registration is open until July 28, and eligible senior high school, vocational high school, and college students are encouraged to seize this final opportunity.

This year's camp focuses on career exploration, featuring career planning courses, company visits, and hands-on learning experiences. Participants will gain a better understanding of their interests and strengths while enhancing intercultural communication skills and making the most of the multilingual and multicultural backgrounds of children from new immigrant families.

The Southern Session will take participants to the Chimei Happiness Factory, where they will join company tours, career seminars, and practical activities. Through direct interaction with industry professionals, students will gain insight into business operations, workplace culture, and career development, helping them prepare for future education and employment.

The program is open to senior high school, vocational high school, and college students, including both children of new immigrants and other eligible students in Taiwan. Participation is free of charge, with approximately 30 places available. As this is the final session of the year, interested applicants are encouraged to complete online registration before July 28 and take advantage of this valuable career exploration opportunity.
