After the Lunar New Year, the first colors of spring will bloom at the Shilin Residence. The 2026 Shilin Residence Tulip Exhibition, themed “Romance in Full Bloom,” will take place from February 26 to March 8. Featuring expansive tulip displays and floral design, the exhibition marks the beginning of the spring season in the city and has become a popular destination for post-holiday outings, dates, and leisurely walks.

The 11-day exhibition features five themed zones and showcases more than 110,000 tulips of over 26 varieties. Colors range from soft pastels to vivid hues, creating a spring landscape filled with emotion and imagination. Whether visiting as couples, families, or friends, visitors can slow down and enjoy the gentle atmosphere brought by the changing season.

This year’s exhibition continues its connection with local culture by extending floral displays to the nearby Shilin Shennong Temple, a designated historic site. A mini tulip display and prayer lantern area have been set up in front of the temple, allowing flower viewing to blend naturally with traditional festivities. As the exhibition coincides with the Lantern Festival, the temple will also host several traditional blessing events, attracting visitors to plan spring outings that combine flower appreciation with temple visits.

During the exhibition period, it also coincides with the Taipei Lantern Festival. Visitors can enjoy tulip viewing at the Shilin Residence and visits to Shennong Temple during the day, then take the MRT in the evening to enjoy lantern displays in the city, or explore nearby areas such as Shilin Night Market, Tianmu, and Beitou. The exhibition offers not just a single attraction, but a complete spring city travel experience, inviting visitors to capture romantic spring memories amid colorful blooms.
