To celebrate Father's Day, the New Taipei City Government is launching the "Dad Serves, the Whole Family Moves" campaign from July 27 to August 8. During the event, all 16 New Taipei Civil Sports Centers will offer a 12% discount on racket sports court rentals, including table tennis, badminton, squash, pickleball, and tennis. Special promotions will also be available at the Sanxia and Yingge Sports Centers during the free trial operation of the Sanying MRT Line.

Mayor Hou You-yi visited the Sanxia Civil Sports Center on July 13 with entertainer Huang Deng-hui and children to experience the newly introduced AI tennis training system. Guided by former national tennis player Wang Dai-hua, participants learned warm-up exercises, basic strokes, and match play while experiencing smart sports technology.

The Sanxia Sports Center's AI Tennis Training Room features the Tennispot AI system, which analyzes ball speed, angle, landing position, and shot accuracy in real time, helping players improve through data-driven feedback. Former national-level coaches also provide professional instruction, combining AI technology with expert coaching.

New Taipei City continues upgrading its sports centers with smart fitness equipment, AI customer service, drowning prevention systems, and fall detection technology for seniors, creating safer, more convenient, and interactive sports facilities for citizens.
