The 2025 Guansi Mesona Flower Festival will take place from November 22 to 23 near the Nanshan Bridge in Guansi marking the events fifth year. The seasonal purple Mesona flower fields are once again in full bloom drawing visitors into the fields to experience Guansis autumn scenery. Thousands of Mesona seedlings planted by the volunteer group Yifen Tian in spring are now in full blossom creating a countryside flower party that showcases both nature and local culture.
In addition to flower viewing the festival highlights in depth cultural exploration of Guansi. The organizers have partnered with local brands to launch experience tours including the Zhangzhixilu romantic Mesona flower trip and traditional crafts such as Dioscorea dyeing and grass weaving allowing visitors to explore Guansis natural cultural and handmade heritage.
Stage performances will feature Hakka musicians including Liu Huiqing Yu Fuxiang Rowent and Siyue bringing warm melodies to the autumn fields. Volunteers from Yifen Tian will also guide ecological tours sharing stories about Mesona cultivation and rural ecology.
A flower field market will run alongside the event featuring local brands and handmade crafts offering visitors a chance to shop among the flower fields. Organizers remind attendees that traffic control will be in place and shuttle services will operate from the Dongan Bridge parking area. In support of environmental protection no trash bins will be provided and visitors are encouraged to bring reusable bags and take their waste with them.
The 2025 festival weaves together floral landscapes aesthetics and cultural travel to create a uniquely romantic autumn experience in Guansi inviting visitors to stroll through waves of purple flowers and enjoy the charm of this small town.
