Spring travel activities are rolling out, and Nanxi District in Tainan will host the “2026 Firefly Blossom Hot Spring Festival” from April 11 to May 3. The event integrates floral scenery, hot springs, and local cultural resources into limited-time itineraries. Centered on mountain tourism, it blends natural landscapes with local characteristics, offering a variety of travel options for spring outings.
To complement the festival, a series of mini tours has been launched and is now open for registration. A total of 2 routes and 6 sessions are planned, all departing from Tainan Railway Station. The itineraries include the Guizi Dan Hot Spring Area, Meiling trails, and distinctive local settlements, featuring guided tours, hands-on experiences, and local meals, allowing visitors to experience Nanxi's key attractions and seasonal highlights within a limited time.
The routes are designed around two themes: cultural-agriculture exploration and wellness experiences. One focuses on local communities, farming activities, and industry visits, while the other combines hot springs, flower-viewing trails, and DIY experiences, extending to attractions in Yujing District. Participation is limited, and registration is currently open.
Each tour is priced at NT$899 per person, and participants will receive a commemorative gift pack upon check-in. In addition to the mini tours, more festival activities will be announced. Interested visitors can check the Tainan Travel website or official social platforms for the latest updates and plan their trips in advance.
