After the "Beethoven" series of concerts was successfully launched in 2020, the Chi Mei Museum (奇美博物館) will hold the "Chi Mei Music Festival-Meeting Mozart" (奇美音樂節-遇見莫札特) series of concerts from October 30, 2021, to January 15, 2022, inviting Tainan National University of the Arts, College of Music (國立台南藝術大學音樂系) Professor Hsieh Fei-Wen (謝斐紋) as the curator. In addition to listening to Mozart's classic works, there are also works by Haydn, Schubert, Brahms, and other masters.
Chi Mei Museum said that the first event "Special Lecture: Without Mozart" will be on October 30th. It will share how Mozart played the role of establishing and inheriting the style, leading everyone to understand the past, present, and future of classical music.

The "NTSO German and Austrian Music" (NTSO德奧樂章) on November 13 was performed by the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra with American conductor Dorian Wilson and the American pianist Chen Wei-Yin (陳偉茵). the "Wang Chiao-Yi and Li Su Beautiful Sound Concert" (王喬怡與李蘇美聲音樂會) on November 27 will feature two well-known French vocalists, the lyrical soprano Wang Chiao-Yi (王喬怡) and the baritone Li Su (李蘇). Paired with pianist Su Lifang (蘇俐方), perform Mozart's opera selections and German art songs.
On December 11, the "Wang Yi-Wen Piano Recital" (汪奕聞鋼琴獨奏會) will be performed by the European and American double Ph.D. performer Wang Yi-Wen. On January 15, 2022, the finale will be the "Infinite Chamber Music Collection" (Infinite室內樂集) featuring string quartets, with performances from the works of Haydn and Mozart to Brahms.

The Chi Mei Museum pointed out that this year coincides with the 230th anniversary of Mozart’s death. The Chi Mei Music Festival takes "Mozart" as the theme and expands to composers who influenced him and who were inspired by him, leading the public to return to the 18th and 19th centuries to enjoy the ultimate beautiful music festival.
