The New Taipei City Government Youth Department continues to promote youth civic diplomacy by strengthening cooperation with the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT). The “America 250: From 1776 to Tomorrow, Honoring the Past and Inspiring the Future” touring exhibition has launched its first Taiwan stop at the New Taipei Youth Career Base, located at the New Taipei American Corner on Minquan Road in Banqiao District.

The exhibition uses interactive technology and historical content to showcase nearly 250 years of democratic development in the United States, encouraging young people to engage with public affairs and expand their global perspective. Highlights include an American hero personality quiz, the “Washington Sound Portrait” created with AI-generated musical scores of the U.S. national anthem, and the “Shining 50 Stars Map” presenting the history and characteristics of each state.
The Youth Department noted that since 2024 it has partnered with AIT to offer English learning clubs, diplomacy workshops, and themed lectures, attracting hundreds of young participants. The New Taipei exhibition runs through December 29, before touring to other cities across Taiwan.
