According to CECC, there are 4 more imported cases in Taiwan on April 22, the cases arrive in Taiwan from Kazakhstan, the Philippines and Indonesia.

On April 22, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced four new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Those four new cases arrived in Taiwan from Kazakhstan (Case #1084), the Philippines (Case #1085 and Case #1086) and Indonesia (Case #1087).
The CECC pointed out that Case #1084 is an over 30-year-old female from Kazakhstan. She traveled to Taiwan for work on April 14. She experienced a cough on April 16, and developed a cough and breathing difficulties on April 18. The health authority then arranged for her to seek medical attention and undergo COVID-19 testing. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 22.
Case #1085 and Case #1086 are two females in their 20s and 30s from the Philippines. They came to Taiwan for work on April 7. They were tested for COVID-19 on April 20, before completing the quarantine period; infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the cases on April 22.
Case #1087 is an over 30-year-old male from Indonesia. The Indonesian man traveled to Taiwan to work as a sailor on March 25. Due to work requirements, he visited the hospital to take a self-paid test arranged by the company he worked for on April 20. Infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in the case on April 22 (the CT value was 32; he had a CT value of 34 after given another test while hospitalized, and he tested negative for IgM and positive for IgG antibodies).
The CECC reported that a cumulative total of 201,061 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 198,980. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 1086 cases. Of the 1086 confirmed cases, 968 are imported; 77 are indigenous; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 2 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection; and 1 case (Case #530) has been removed (Case #530 is not assigned to any patients). Of the confirmed cases, there have been 11 deaths, and 1041 patients have been released from isolation, with the other 34 patients remaining hospitalized in isolation.
