  • Registration for Southeast Asian and International Language Competition of New Taipei City now kicked off

The Education Department, New Taipei City Government will host the Southeast Asian Language Competition and International Language Competition to foster students' motivation in learning Southeast Asian languages. From June 1st to June 30th will be the registration period. Thai, Cambodian, Burmese, Malay, Vietnamese, Hindi, Cambodian, and Filipino are among the seven participating languages.

Both "group reading" and "group singing" will be categories in the competition. A 3,000 NTD gift voucher will be given to the winning team. Through the competition, it is hoped that new immigrants would be able to take full advantage of their language abilities and build a more diversified and international city.
