In response to growing demand for maternal and infant care services, the Taoyuan City Government has launched a postpartum caregiver training program for new immigrants. Classes will begin on July 2, and registration is now open. The 202-hour program is fully subsidized. Eligible participants may also apply for a monthly living allowance of NT$17,700 during training. Enrollment is limited.

The program is entering its second year and continues to support new immigrants interested in the maternal and infant care industry. As dual-income households and postpartum care needs increase, demand for qualified postpartum caregivers and childcare workers continues to grow.

The training includes 202 hours of professional instruction covering maternal and infant care, child safety, and workplace practice. Participants will gain practical skills needed for care-related careers.

The course is open to unemployed individuals aged 18 and above and is fully subsidized. Eligible groups, including new immigrants, women returning to work, and low-income households, may apply for the monthly vocational training allowance.

Upon completion, participants will receive childcare and postpartum caregiver training certificates and may access employment matching and referral services. Interested applicants can contact the Taoyuan City Babysitters Association for registration details.
