The name &ldquoRe Seek&rdquo symbolizes both renewal and repetition. It reflects our intent to use recycled fabric in the course while also embedding the idea of &ldquoseeking&rdquo - exploring cultural elements from each participant&rsquos home country during this empowerment journey. New immigrants often focus on adapting to local life in Taiwan, but this land also hopes to embrace the rich diversity of their cultures. Through this training, we aim not only to teach home economics skills like sewing but also to encourage cultural expression by integrating homeland elements into creative work.
In addition to handmade and sewing lessons, we want participants to extend their learning beyond the classroom. The course includes field visits to workshops and a hands-on silkscreen printing activity, sparking ideas and practical experience.
