Established in July 2011, this project integrates government agencies, social welfare organizations, and community resources. Through referrals by social service groups, second-hand furniture and appliances are delivered to unemployed households, children from low-income families, and victims of house fires. Recently, businesses and organizations have also joined the cause, including the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), United Pet Group, and Barco Co., Ltd., actively donating items and contributing to the community.

Ms. Duan from Xinzhuang District, a recipient of the program, shared that a fire broke out in her home on Lunar New Year&rsquos Day this year. Through referral from the Department of Social Welfare, &ldquoHappiness Station&rdquo provided her family with essential furniture, including a bookshelf, desk and chairs, shoe cabinet, and bunk beds, helping her family of five start over.
