In order to help local industries with their international expansion in Southeast Asia, the Economic Development Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology together launched the first Master's credit Program- Technology entrepreneurship and Business Management and Innovation.
Foreign students from Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam and local Taiwanese students are welcome to participate in the program.
The program focuses on Technology Innovation and aims to provide assistance in industrial development, enterprise innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The course includes corporate sharing, one-on-one exchanges with companies, and corporate visits. Through these activities, the program hopes to create a chance for students to understand innovative business ideas and receive suggestions.

Chen Lin Ying is a Vietnamese student in Taiwan. Chen mentioned that he is deeply interested in marketing and digital transformation. He planned to get a master’s degree in Taiwan, then return to his hometown and work in the trading field.
Chen says that after attending the New South Bound Master Program and participating in the corporate visits, he started to think about what can he do to help Taiwanese cooperates understand the Vietnamese culture and market. And how to deepen the relationship between Taiwan industries and his hometown local businesses.
The training program welcomes students in the fields of business management, finance, engineering, agriculture, and other fields. The Economic Development Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government hopes to conduct cross-disciplinary research and discussion and create more wonderful ideas and potential match up.
