The "2026 Hualien daylily flower season" will run from August 8 to October 11 at Chike Mountain in Yuli Township and Sixty Stone Mountain in Fuli Township, focusing on summer-autumn daylily flower fields and rural tourism in Hualien's East Rift Valley. As the two areas enter bloom, hillside fields will gradually turn golden, drawing visitors for flower viewing and photography while boosting seasonal travel.

Chike Mountain is known for mountain settlements, stone houses and tea fields, while Sixty Stone Mountain features broad views and large flower fields. Together, the two areas offer different viewing routes and have become one of Hualien's representative seasonal landscapes.

Beyond flower viewing, the county government will work with local farmers, communities and industry partners to plan farm product sales, specialty markets, food and agriculture education, and rural experiences. These activities connect daylily cultivation, harvesting and processing with local food and rural culture.

Daylilies are an important specialty crop in Hualien and have gradually become a seasonal brand for rural tourism. Flower season updates will be announced by the Agriculture Department of Hualien County Government, Yuxi District Farmers' Association and Fuli Township Farmers' Association.

As the flower season spans summer vacation and early autumn travel periods, visitors may combine flower viewing with nearby rural and cultural sites in Yuli and Fuli to extend their East Rift Valley trip.
