To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pokémon GO, the large-scale official live event “Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Tainan” will take place in Tainan from February 20 to 22. The main venue will be located at Tainan Metropolitan Park, featuring a newly designed event that combines daytime exploration and nighttime performances over three consecutive days, offering a fully immersive gameplay experience unlike previous editions.

One of the major highlights of this event is the setup of three themed habitats at the main venue, including “Central Village,” “Coastal Research Center,” and “Mountain Range.” Combined with on-site installations and limited Pokémon interactions, Trainers will be able to fully experience the world of the Kalos region in a real-world setting. During the event, players will have the opportunity to encounter Shiny Diancie making its first appearance in Pokémon GO, as well as Pikachu wearing Calem’s hat and Pikachu wearing Serena’s hat.

Unlike past events that were limited to daytime gameplay, this three-day event will introduce the nighttime program “Super Night” for the first time. By purchasing an additional nighttime ticket, Trainers can enjoy gameplay under immersive lighting and soundscape designs while watching live performances, extending the excitement into the evening hours.

In addition, the event offers a “Citywide Gameplay Add-on,” granting players an extra day to freely explore Tainan City while continuing to enjoy in-game content, allowing gameplay to seamlessly blend with the urban environment.

The event is expected to attract large crowds. Participants are advised to complete ticket purchases and travel planning in advance and to make use of public transportation and shuttle services to ensure smooth traffic flow.
