In the recent 2023 Victoria Cracow International Choral Competition, the choir from Changhua County's Dacun Elementary School (大村國小) took home two top honors. In addition to taking part in the competition during this tour, the choir members also visited picturesque locations in Poland and Vienna and performed their great singing to the locals in order to promote Taiwanese culture.

The Dacun Elementary School Choir's competition video caught the attention of WeAreSinging Music Association, the organization behind this year's Victoria Cracow International Choral Competition. In order to participate in Poland this year, it invited the Dacun Elementary School Choir.

The local "Wieliczka and Bochnia Royal Salt Mines," which are recognized as a World Heritage, were also visited by members of the Dacun Elementary School chorus during the competition break, and they sang the well-known song "Proud of you" in the Saint Kinga's Chapel, which is 100 meters underground.
