From May to October, Green Island enters its peak travel season and land crab breeding period. The Green Island ecological slow travel series has begun and runs until October 31, including the “Guoshan Old Trail treasure hunt” tour, the “Thank you for your love” crab protection action, and environmental beach cleanups.

The “Guoshan Old Trail treasure hunt” focuses on the island's old trail environment and native plants. Reservations are open until the end of October, with sessions from Monday to Friday at 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Ticket prices, spending rewards, and partner stores are listed on the official website.

May to October is also the breeding season for the Metasesarma aubryi land crab on Green Island. Female crabs move from coastal forests to the sea to release eggs, overlapping with peak traffic. The crab protection action will be held on June 12, July 13, August 12, and September 10, with four sessions at the Turtle Bay section of the Ring Island Road at 6:00 p.m.

Beach cleanup activities are also open until the end of October. Visitors can pick up supplies at the Green Island Visitor Center and join according to the designated coastlines and reservation method, helping reduce coastal waste and its impact on marine life.
