The New Taipei City Government Youth Department's "New Taipei Has Courses UKO" offers 34 free in-person courses from October to December, covering AI practice, digital tools, workplace skills and career exploration. Registration is now open, as AI becomes an increasingly common workplace skill.

The courses focus on hands-on AI learning, covering basic AI use, programming, presentations and data processing to help young people apply digital tools in real work situations.

Workplace topics include proposal communication, project management, interviews, salary negotiation, labor rights and workplace communication, addressing situations young people may face when seeking jobs or working.

Career exploration is another focus, with professionals sharing firsthand experience. Chen Jo-yu, a Golden Horse Awards Best Art Direction nominee, discusses the set design of the film "The Sadness". A counseling psychologist and a current EVA Air flight attendant also share professional development, workplace challenges and interview preparation.

Courses run from October to December and are free for young people aged 18 to 40, with limited places. Details and registration are available in the "New Taipei Has Courses UKO" section of the New Taipei City Government Youth Department website and on the event registration page. Information is subject to official announcements.
