As graduation season and a wave of career changes approach, a large Taipei job fair will open on May 23, with 52 companies offering 2,061 jobs. Full-time starting salaries can reach NT$70,000, and more than 60% of openings require no related experience. Organized by the Taipei City Employment Services Office, the “Build a Career, Start a Happy Life” job fair includes jobs in lodging and food service, transportation and warehousing, retail service, and construction.
Most openings come from the lodging and food service industry, while transportation and warehousing offer higher starting salaries, with some positions reaching NT$70,000. Jobs range from entry-level service work to technical and management roles, reflecting continued hiring demand in service, logistics, and consumer-related industries.
Because over 60% of openings do not require experience, the event is aimed at graduates, unemployed workers, and career changers. Many companies also provide training, trainee programs, and mentoring systems. Some positions include marriage subsidies, children's education subsidies, and health care benefits, showing that companies are strengthening workplace support in addition to salary.
The event will also feature career talks and government consultation services covering job scam prevention, vocational training, childcare, and health information. The Taipei City Employment Services Office advises job seekers to prepare resumes and related documents in advance. Recruitment details are available on the Taipei Employment Information website.
