[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] The Russo-Ukrainian War has had a significant impact on the lives and commodities of the people of Ukraine. Taiwan and the European Bank recently signed a donation agreement, donating 500,000 euros from the special account for relief to Ukraine and working with the Ukrainian state-run postal service and logistics firms to restructure the transnational Transportation system so that supplies for international humanitarian aid can continue to be delivered to Ukraine as well as goods required

A donation agreement signing event was recently held between Taiwan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. The representative in the UK (謝武樵), and Ines Rocha, the director of the European Bank's "Influence and Partnership Office," completed the signing. 500,000 euros were donated from the special account for Ukraine.

The donation, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be used to help Ukraine's state-run postal agencies and logistics firms restructure the transnational transportation system through the European Bank in order to maintain the delivery of goods essential for Ukrainian business operations and deliver international humanitarian aid to Ukraine. This is the European Union. Sweden contributed to the first batch of technical cooperation projects presented by Silver in order to help the Ukrainians who were directly impacted by the Russo-Ukrainian War.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan and the European Bank have been working closely together for a long time. Most recently, both helped Ukraine with sustainable agriculture, urban planning, legal reform, and personnel training. As a member of the democratic camp in the international community, Taiwan will continue to band together with like-minded nations and international organizations to oppose authoritarianism and aggression. Taiwan will also fulfill its international social obligations by promptly supplying Ukraine with the aid it requires, proving that "Taiwan Can Help" contribution.
