To assist foreign workers in smoothly transitioning to new employers through direct hiring, the Ministry of Labor's "Online Platform for Foreign Workers Switching Employers" was officially launched on January 15, 2025. This platform provides more convenient, real-time matching services between direct employers and foreign workers.

The platform, developed by the Direct Employment Joint Service Center (Direct Employment Center), supports four languages: Chinese, English, Vietnamese, and Thai. Direct employers can post job openings, search resumes, and invite candidates for interviews. Foreign workers can upload their resumes, search job opportunities, and apply directly. The platform also features a condition-matching function, automatically recommending suitable job seekers or employers, simplifying the matching process for both sides.

Easy-to-Use Platform Meeting Diverse Needs

The Ministry of Labor highlighted that direct employers can register using their email to log in to the platform, post job openings, and search for resumes. The system will automatically match resumes based on the employer's needs, generate recommended candidate lists, and assist in arranging interviews. Foreign workers can disclose their resumes, set job preferences, search for suitable openings, and apply through the platform. The center also provides a dedicated phone line for matching assistance and progress tracking to facilitate scheduling and coordination.

Integrated Online and Offline Services with Video Matching

In addition to the online platform, the Direct Employment Center holds at least two employer-worker coordination meetings weekly. Registration is available via in-person, mail, fax, or online methods. These coordination meetings feature bilingual interpreters on-site and provide inter-county video matching services, enabling employers and workers to overcome geographical barriers and complete interviews and follow-up procedures via video calls.

Transparent and User-Friendly Services

The platform has been officially online since January 15, 2025. Direct employers and foreign workers can register and access the platform through the Direct Employment Center’s website (https://dhsc.wda.gov.tw). The center also provides user guides and technical support. For further inquiries, users can call the service hotline at 02-66130811 or the toll-free number 1955 (press 1, then 5) for assistance in Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian.

The Ministry of Labor stated that the "Online Platform for Foreign Workers Switching Employers" will significantly shorten job-seeking and hiring timeframes, improve matching efficiency, and help foreign workers transition seamlessly to new jobs, fostering a win-win situation for both employers and workers.
