In response to the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the accelerated push for corporate sustainability transformation, the Taipei City Government Department of Labor stated that the Taipei Vocational Development Institute has launched a range of ICT vocational training and advanced courses. The programs focus on AI applications, smart technologies, ESG sustainability, and green energy development. Enrollment is now open to help the public strengthen practical skills and prepare in advance for career transitions, re-employment, and career advancement.

The Department of Labor noted that corporate talent selection trends have shifted from academic credentials to capability-based assessment, with practical, job-ready skills becoming a key evaluation factor. Through vocational training, the city government translates AI and sustainability trends into concrete, applicable skill sets, enabling trainees to connect directly with employment opportunities or enhance competitiveness in their current positions after completing training.

The ICT vocational training programs are employment-oriented and include courses such as ERP system applications, smart programming practical training, and smart electronic product implementation. These programs aim to cultivate skills in business process integration, data processing, AI, and IoT applications, aligning with industry needs in administrative management, data analysis, and smart manufacturing.

In addition, courses in AI media and marketing automation, online operations, sustainability planning, and ESG data automation are also offered. For those currently employed, short-term advanced courses such as AIGC creation, 3D printing, and household green energy applications are available, helping participants flexibly and quickly connect with emerging technologies.
