To enhance the language skills and basic life knowledge of school dropouts and new immigrants, the Changhua County Government is organizing the "2025 Adult Basic Education Workshop and New Immigrant Literacy Class."

This year, a total of 23 classes will be offered, including 6 Adult Basic Education Classes and 17 New Immigrant Literacy Classes. Each class consists of 72 hours of coursework, divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels based on participants' abilities. The Changhua County Education Department stated that the Adult Basic Education Classes will be held at Hexing Elementary School, Lugang Elementary School, and Fuxing Township Office. Meanwhile, the New Immigrant Literacy Classes will be available at Hexing Elementary School, Qiaoxin Elementary School, Yuanlin Elementary School, Xizhou Township Office, Huatan Township Office, Meigangxi Community College, and Changhua Community College. Residents are encouraged to select a nearby location to participate and seize the opportunity to learn.

The Education Department emphasized that participants who complete the Advanced Class and obtain a certificate of completion will qualify for the Primary Level Certification of the Supplementary Elementary School Program. This qualification allows students to advance to the Advanced Level of the Supplementary School Program, helping them better adapt to society, improve personal skills, and enhance their quality of life.
