To help new immigrants improve life skills and boost their employment competitiveness, the Department of Civil Affairs of Taipei City Government and Wenshan District Office will offer a free &ldquoNail Art Course for New Immigrants&rdquo from July 10 to August 14, 2025. The program aims to cultivate practical skills for better social and workplace integration.

Taught by professional instructors, the course includes nail care, painting, nail extensions, and 3D designs. It also introduces trends in Taiwan's nail industry to help students understand market needs. The course spans 11 sessions and 33 hours, held every Monday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the 7th-floor conference room of Wenshan District Administrative Center (No. 220, Sec. 3, Muzha Rd., Taipei).

Besides skill training, students will also participate in cultural experiences unique to the Wenshan District, such as bamboo shoot harvesting and local cuisine tastings organized by Jingmei Farmers&rsquo Association.

The course is open to new immigrants who are registered residents of Taipei City, married and residing in Taiwan, and have basic Chinese language proficiency. If spots remain, new immigrants from other regions are also welcome to apply.
