Recently, the Coast Guard Administration helped a small boat with two Filipino crew members that was drifting at sea owing to a technical issue. Thankfully, the fishing boat from Kaohsiung (滿勝發6號) discovered it in time and quickly offered a help to save the two crew members. The Coast Guard Administration ship (偉星艦)

also offered assistance and support in ensuring the two Filipino crew members' safe return to Donggang Fishing Port.

The Coast Guard Administration is aware that a fishing boat registered in Kaohsiung  (滿勝發6號) discovered a small boat drifting south of Eluanbi at night and quickly rescued the crew. The Coast Guard Administration swiftly sent ship (偉星艦) to handle the rescue.

The ship (偉星艦) spoke with the fishing boat and cruised off to the side during the rescue operation. The Filipino crew managed to communicate with the members of the Philippine maritime patrol despite not being able to comprehend the language. The team arrived back home safely, the Philippine Office in Taiwan was given control of the port to address follow-up issues, and the problem was successfully handled.
