The annual Beitou spring floral event, the “2026 Sancengqi Flower Sea”, will open on February 11 at She Sancengqi Park and run through March 15. Centered on the theme “Walking with Floral Wishes”, the event integrates large-scale floral landscapes with pedestrian routes, creating a springtime flower-viewing experience that blends natural scenery with the rhythm of urban life, allowing visitors to enjoy expansive seasonal views close to the city.

This year marks the first time that She Sancengqi Park and Galbie Park are connected through a continuous S-shaped flower-viewing route, linking rolling floral fields with cherry blossom walkways into a complete scenic trail. She Sancengqi Park utilizes its undulating terrain to present expansive flower displays inspired by local ecological imagery, featuring lavender, dianthus, cockscomb, begonias, and dusty miller arranged in layered color patterns. The adjacent Galbie Park highlights cherry blossoms and open vistas, offering views of the Tamsui River, Guanyin Mountain in Bali District, and the Taipei Basin, showcasing Beitou's spring scenery unfolding from near to far.

The flower season also extends the experience beyond the parks themselves. Visitors can ride YouBike between the two parks, completing a dual-park tour in a short time and enjoying greater flexibility in planning their visit. During the event, multiple partner shops across the Beitou area-including dining, souvenir, and rest stops-are incorporated, allowing flower-viewing trips to naturally expand into neighborhood strolls and presenting a spring flower season that blends landscapes, daily life, and the city's pace.

Walking along paths where flower fields and cherry blossoms intersect, the hillside cityscape gradually unfolds with each step, revealing Beitou's distinctive seasonal atmosphere in spring. More event information is available on the “Flowers in Taipei” official website and the Parks Department's Facebook fan page.
