The Ministry of Economic Affairs' Administration of Commerce is launching "Travel, Dine & Shop: Tap into Good Luck Consumer Month" from September 1 to 30. LINE Pay, JKoPay, PXPay Plus, icash Pay, Easy Wallet and iPASS MONEY are joining the campaign, covering more than 400,000 merchants. Consumers can use mobile payments for leisure, dining and shopping, then enter reward draws after reaching the required spending amount.
Consumers can pay at participating merchants with any of the six platforms and join the reward program after meeting the applicable spending threshold. Eligibility, spending requirements and rewards vary by platform and are subject to each platform's announcement.
The campaign covers commercial districts, markets, restaurants and retail stores, allowing consumers to participate during everyday outings, meals and shopping. Through their combined merchant networks, the six platforms bring the campaign to more than 400,000 stores nationwide.
The campaign also links digital payments with physical stores. In recent years, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has supported commercial service businesses in adopting digital tools and improving services through brand development, aesthetic upgrades, service redesign and multilingual support. This year's measures also include themed sales, digital gift bags, merchant discounts and cross-industry partnerships.
