At Aowanda, visitors must provide the accommodation date, booking number and guest name for verification. Guests staying at Song Syue Lodge may instead present their accommodation notice. Once eligibility is confirmed, they can purchase a NT$10 admission ticket, so all booking information should be retained.

Hehuanshan and Aowanda feature landscapes at different elevations. Travelers can arrange alpine sightseeing, forest trails and ecological observation on separate days, then choose the order according to weather. As temperatures cool in September, confirming accommodation first can make the mountain itinerary less rushed.
