Taoyuan City Library Main Library is being renovated, inviting the public to brainstorm ideas for new operation and services

Taoyuan City Library Main Library is being renovated and is to be open to the public this October. Planning for the library-goer's future experiences, the library is inviting the public to brainstorm ideas for the new library’s operation and services.

From now until March 31, 5 p.m., readers and friends are welcome to write a short essay (more than 400 words and less than 1000 words) with the title of "What I imagine for a new Taoyuan City Library Main Library".

Those who pass the review will receive a gift voucher and a digital reading serial number. The public is welcome to actively participate in the call for submissions.

Eligibility for the call for submissions includes Taiwanese citizens and immigrants whose household registration is in Taoyuan City, and who are residing or working in Taoyuan City.

A total of 50 places are available. There are 10 places for participants under the age of 12 (inclusive) and 40 places for participants above the age of 12. After the review and selection, participants can get a serial number for the digital version of United Daily News (which can be used for 1 year and is worth NT$880) and a gift voucher worth NT, 1,000.

The content of the call for submissions includes what kind of services and activities do you want the library to provide, the most satisfactory library services, activities or policies, and based on the past experiences, the future direction of the library's development, etc., hoping to meet the needs of readers.
