Yangmingshan National Park is home to lush vegetation and rich biodiversity. Among its most captivating features are the vibrant butterflies fluttering through the forest. Taiwan is known as the "Butterfly Kingdom," with over 400 recorded species. Each early summer, nectar-producing plants such as Cirsium japonicum, Angelica pubescens, and Eupatorium shimadai bloom and attract swarms of butterflies. This reaches its peak from May to June, creating a breathtaking scene of butterflies in flight.
