The Ministry of Education’s Youth Development Administration has officially launched the "2025 Youth Grand Tour of Taiwan – Discovering the Map of Touching Experiences" project. High school (vocational) students and young people aged 18 to 35 across Taiwan are invited to form teams and embark on an exploration to uncover Taiwan’s unique stories.Participants are encouraged to explore Taiwan's culture and warmth through travel (Image / Retrieved from Grand Tour Experiential Learning Website).

From now until March 14, eligible groups of two or more members can register and choose a category that suits them. The "Rooted Seed Group" is designed for high school (vocational) students, encouraging them to integrate their learning journey with deep cultural exploration, creating unforgettable memories of youth. Meanwhile, young people aged 18 to 35 can join the "Dream Fulfillment Group", where creativity and action bring forgotten local stories back to life.

The project encourages participants to discover Taiwan’s culture and human warmth through travel, whether it's an ancient tree in the mountains, legends in temple courtyards, a craftsman’s final masterpiece, or a heartfelt greeting from a local resident. Participating teams must create a "Touching Experience Map" to document their discoveries and insights along the journey and implement their grand tour plan between June and August.Participating teams will use creativity and action to uncover hidden treasures and create their own unique map of touching experiences (Image / Retrieved from Grand Tour Experiential Learning Website).

To help participants quickly understand the event details, the organizers have created a "quick guide animation". The project will conclude with an achievement selection, where the winning teams can receive up to NT$180,000 in prizes (including NT$80,000 for implementation funding, NT$50,000 for the annual achievement award, and NT$50,000 for the video special prize).

Beyond the generous rewards, participants will also have the opportunity to enhance their learning, develop teamwork skills, and gain invaluable life experiences through the journey.

The Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education sincerely invites all young people in Taiwan to unleash their creativity and passion, set out with love for the land, and discover touching moments hidden throughout Taiwan.
