Regular cancer screening not only helps detect diseases at an early stage but also offers a chance to win attractive prizes. Chiayi County Public Health Bureau has launched the “Health Bonus: Take Action for Cancer Screening” campaign to encourage eligible residents to take advantage of free cancer screening services. Participants who complete the designated screenings will be entered into prize drawings featuring rewards such as an iPhone 17, NT$20,000 flight vouchers, travel vouchers, and gift cards.

According to the bureau, early detection and treatment remain the most effective ways to reduce cancer-related mortality. In line with the national expanded screening policy, eligible residents can receive free screenings for six types of cancer: cervical cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, oral cancer, gastric cancer, and lung cancer.

To improve accessibility, Chiayi County continues to provide a variety of healthcare services, including the Mobile Medical Service 3.0 program and community-based comprehensive health screening events. Residents can complete screenings close to home while also qualifying for the prize campaign.

The first prize drawing will take place on June 12. Those who miss the first round will still have another opportunity, as a second drawing is scheduled for December 11. Anyone who completes the designated screenings during the campaign period will be eligible to participate.

The bureau reminds residents that cancer screening is an important step in protecting their health. Eligible individuals are encouraged to schedule their screenings as early as possible. More information about screening locations and campaign details is available on the Chiayi County Public Health Bureau website or through local health centers.
