The New Taipei City Government will host the first-ever "2025 Fuzhong Drunken Summer Party" from May 2 to May 18 at Fuzhong Plaza. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the plaza will be transformed into an open-air tipsy party, highlighting three themed party styles, featuring craft beer brands, bistros, and popular food trucks, along with live music performances and limited-edition beer giveaways, creating the chillest early summer celebration.
Deputy Mayor Chen Chun-Ching pointed out that the craft beer industry has grown rapidly in recent years. New Taipei now boasts the largest number of craft beer producers in Taiwan, accounting for nearly 20% of the national market. The city government hopes this event will promote local brands, boost the night economy, revitalize the Banqiao business district, attract crowds, and stimulate growth in the food and tourism industries.
During the event period, Fuzhong Plaza will present three rotating themed parties each week, ranging from premium cocktails and rainbow shots to unique flavored mixes. Six local breweries will participate, including SUNMAI, Taihu Brewing, Beeru Craft Brewing, Beer Belly Brewing, Commander Brewery, and Sunmai Ghost Brewing. Whether you're a fan of classic wheat beers or light and fruity brews, there&rsquos something to suit every taste.
The food is equally exciting, with food stalls and trucks offering grilled skewers, fried snacks, desserts, and more &mdash perfect pairings for a cold brew. Each day, the event will also release a limited-edition exclusive craft beer. Anyone aged 18 and up who completes identity verification and uploads a photo of the event to social media can redeem a free bottle on-site.

At the same time, the &ldquoRun Cheers! Tipsy Passport&rdquo stamp collection activity is underway. From now until May 18, customers who shop at two participating stores can collect stamps and redeem them on-site for beer vouchers. The passport format encourages visitors to explore the Fuzhong neighborhood, supporting foot traffic and revitalizing local businesses.

Additionally, the event stage will feature weekly live music performances by popular artists, including R&B singer-songwriter LINION, Golden Indie Music Awards 2024 Best New Artist nominee Andr, and electronic-pop singer E1and. Their weekend performances will light up the evenings with relaxing and vibrant summer vibes.
