The 2025 Namaxia Firefly and Peach Festival will take place from March 21 to April 27, inviting people across the country to visit the "Land of the Immortals," enjoy the mesmerizing sight of fireflies, and taste sweet peaches.

Namaxia District boasts rich ecological resources, with up to 15 species of fireflies appearing each spring, including the Black-winged Firefly, Large-end Black Firefly, Red-breasted Black-winged Firefly, and Sauter's Firefly. March and April mark the peak firefly viewing season, while April to June is peach harvest season, creating a delightful natural feast that bridges spring and summer.

This year's event combines firefly viewing, ecological education, indigenous culture, and culinary experiences. Partnering with the "Taipei Bus Station APP," half-day, one-day, and two-day tour options are available, and visitors can redeem tickets via the app. A special firefly-viewing program in collaboration with "Ubus" adds new service points at Kaohsiung and Tainan bus terminals. During the event period (weekends and holidays), free shuttle buses will operate within the district, transporting visitors between the firefly trails and tribal markets for added convenience.

Firefly tickets are priced at NT$250 (includes a NT$150 admission ticket and a NT$100 consumption voucher), which can be redeemed at the tribal market and participating stores. Every Saturday in April from 4 PM to 6 PM, indigenous music performances will take place, welcoming visitors with traditional songs and dances.

To encourage family visits, seniors aged 65 and above, as well as visitors with a disability card, can redeem free entry with a special voucher. Children aged 12 and below can also enjoy free admission during the Children's Day holiday (April 3 to 6).

Independent Travelers: Firefly tickets can be purchased at designated sales points in the district.
Seniors aged 65 and above and children under 2 years old are eligible for a NT$150 discount on firefly tickets, allowing more people to easily enjoy this springtime ecological and cultural feast.
