News Focus (November 8 – November 14) 

  • Legal stay for foreigners can be automatically extended for 30 days

The National Immigration Agency (NIA) announced that foreigners who entered Taiwan on or before March 21, 2020 and have not overstayed their allowed duration of stay will have an automatic extension for their stay.   • The MOL launches online learning courses on Occupational Disasters for migrant workers

Many migrant workers work high-risk jobs. To increase awareness of occupational disaster, the Ministry of Labor (MOL) provided online learning courses on the subject.   • Migrant workers and employers doing unlicensed work is illegal

Many migrant workers work part-time during their free time to earn more money.   • Experience Southeast Asian Cultural markets in Kaohsiung
