Organized by the New Taipei City Water Resources Department, the "Zhonggang Light and Shadow: Enchanted Realm" light sculpture exhibition officially opened on the evening of February 26. Over 3 million LED lights illuminated the Zhonggang Riverside Promenade simultaneously, creating a breathtaking display of dazzling lights and shadows. The grand opening featured an electrifying fire dance performance by "Coming True Fire Dance Troupe," drawing large crowds. The exhibition runs until March 23, with nightly shows from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The Most Luxurious Setup in Five Years to Celebrate White Day
New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-Yi stated that this marks the fifth year of the Zhonggang Light Sculpture Exhibition. In celebration of White Day on March 14, the city government has meticulously designed a light art installation symbolizing love and beauty&mdashthe "Goddess of Light." The interplay of water and light creates a dreamy and romantic atmosphere, bringing happiness and warmth to visitors.

According to Water Resources Bureau Director Song De-Ren, this year&rsquos exhibition features four main lighting zones:
- "Dreamy Zone"
- "Art Zone"
- "Hope Zone"
- "Happiness Zone"
Each area highlights a unique light and shadow theme. The most eye-catching attraction is the 5-meter-tall "Goddess of Light" sculpture on Confidence Bridge, along with the interactive "Romantic Train." Visitors can press a button to release a mystical mist from the train&rsquos chimney, adding to the immersive experience. Another stunning display, "Lavender Dreamscape," is located at Zhonggang Plaza, featuring a pink and purple illuminated column gateway that creates a truly romantic atmosphere.

Visitors at the opening ceremony shared their excitement, saying that as soon as the lights turned on, it felt like stepping into a magical world. Many couldn&rsquot resist capturing the mesmerizing scene with their smartphones. This year&rsquos Baroque-style arches and dazzling light decorations make the exhibition look like a queen&rsquos palace, making it a must-visit Instagram hotspot.

Additionally, on March 14, White Day, a special interactive challenge event will be held. Visitors who successfully complete the challenge will receive an exclusive "Lollipop-Shaped Towel" souvenir. The city government invites the public to take advantage of this limited-time event and immerse themselves in the enchanting light exhibition for a truly romantic evening.
