To help new immigrants adjust to life in Taiwan and strengthen their sense of well being the Ministry of the Interior MOI has integrated a range of services including language assistance information resources and local service centers providing comprehensive support for community integration.

The MOI noted that the Government Guide for New Immigrants in Taiwan covers practical topics such as household registration family services health welfare and employment. The guide is available in multiple languages including Chinese English Indonesian Vietnamese Thai Khmer Burmese Japanese and Korean helping new immigrants access information in their preferred language and lowering adaptation barriers. In addition foreign nationals and new immigrants may call the 1990 service hotline for assistance on visas residency employment education culture taxation health insurance transportation public safety welfare and legal matters. New immigrant family service centers have been established across all counties and cities offering consultations training programs family support and community activities to help families build social connections and support networks. Details are available on local government websites.

The MOI emphasized that these services aim to ensure new immigrants can live comfortably and adapt confidently in Taiwan. The ministry will continue improving multilingual services and work with local governments to create a fair and friendly living environment for all new immigrants.
