NIA promotes free information courses “Collecting Stamps & Enjoy Beitou” for new immigrants

The NIA organized activities to allow new immigrants to visit Beitou and experience the local cultures. New immigrants are invited to join the "New Immigration Digital Application Information Project". The public must register as a member to participate in the free information courses. The "Latest Regulations on Agency Fees" for Foreign Caregivers has been released

Many Taiwanese families hire foreign caregivers through intermediaries. The Taiwan government expressed that migrant workers do not need to pay “migrant worker introduction fees” to intermediaries. Migrant workers may contact the 1955 “Foreign Workers’ Free Hotline” if they are charged any suspicious fees. Amended Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professionals comes into effect

FSC protects the rights of migrant workers receiving small-amount remittance services

The Taiwanese government continues to protect the rights and interests of migrant workers in Taiwan. The Financial Supervisory Commission R.O.C. (FSC) announced that “cross-border remittances” have been included in the “Act of Electronic Payment”.
