To enhance public understanding of new immigrant cultures and promote family learning and intercultural exchange, New Immigrants Global News will host the "Market Treasure Hunters: Parent-Child Cultural Puzzle Adventure" at Tuku Township Library in Yunlin County on August 12 and 13. Through immersive settings and interactive puzzle-solving activities, families are invited to explore Southeast Asian markets while learning about the food, lifestyles, and cultural traditions of different countries.
The library will be transformed into a multicultural marketplace, creating an interactive learning environment where participants complete mission-based challenges while gaining a deeper understanding of the cultures and daily lives of Taiwan's new immigrant communities. The activity aims to foster appreciation and respect for cultural diversity through engaging experiences.
The event features three themed challenge stations: "Vietnam Market Expert," "Cambodian Little Chef," and "Indonesian Culture Explorer." Participants will discover Vietnamese market foods and useful Vietnamese phrases, identify Cambodian ingredients and spices through hands-on sensory experiences, and learn about Indonesian Muslim dietary customs by distinguishing Halal and Non-Halal foods through interactive games.

The event welcomes new immigrant families, local community associations, and the general public. Participants who complete all three challenge stations and collect all activity stamps will receive a special gift while supplies last. Sessions will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and participants may choose either event day to enjoy this multicultural family adventure.
