According to a report in the "4wayvoice", the Education Department of New Taipei City Government (新北市政府教育局) in cooperation with Lee-Ming Institute of Technology (黎明技術學院) handled the three-day "New Taipei City 2021 New Second Generation Soaring High 2.0 High School Vocational Student Career Development Program-Training New Second Generation New Students. Overseas Online Action Camp" online activity, with teachers from various fields and outstanding figures in the industry. The 46 participating students from New Taipei City high school vocational students gained a broader vision and a better understanding of how to make use of their international advantages as transnational residents.

Wu Chan-Jung (吳展蓉), a student from Taishan High School, speaks Vietnamese and her mother comes from Vietnam. She participated in the 2017 Soaring High Project of New Taipei City (新北市2017年昂揚計畫) for overseas cultural experience, and she hopes to be a diplomat in the future. She said that in the training, she realized that the development of various fields should not be restricted by race and skin color, and everyone has the right to show their talents and speak out. The other, Yang Cheng-Chin (楊成勤), a new second-generation student from Sanchong High School, who served as the New Taipei City Cultural Ambassador, was surprised to see the AI robots of Lee-Ming Institute of Technology at the beginning and benefited a lot from the sharing of examples by the new second-generation seniors.

Chang Ming-Wen (張明文), Director of the Education Department, said that in addition to the cultural and language advantages of the children of new immigrants, New Taipei City also hopes to expand the international vision of the students, and understand the post-epidemic global trend, deepen their new strengths, and boldly move forward ready to meet future challenges.
