The Meinong Household Registration Office of Kaohsiung City Government will hold two more New Resident Cultural Tour activities in September. On September 13, participants will explore Daluguan and its Hakka stone lion culture, while on September 20 they will visit Longmu Community in Dashu District to experience rural life and local characteristics.

The second activity will take place on September 13 at Happiness Manor Garden Homestay, featuring a community walk through Daluguan and its stone lion culture. On September 20, the third activity will move to Longmu Community, where participants will learn about the rural environment and experience local life with the community leader.

The first activity this year focused on disaster prevention, with more than 30 new residents and family members learning fire prevention, evacuation and emergency response, as well as practicing CPR. The two September activities will shift the focus to local culture and rural experiences.

The Meinong Household Registration Office said the program combines practical topics with community experiences, helping new residents become familiar with their surroundings and Kaohsiung's local culture. This year's three activities cover daily safety, Hakka culture and rural life.

The 2026 New Resident Cultural Tour includes three activities. The first has been completed, followed by the Daluguan stone lion cultural tour on September 13 and the Longmu Community rural experience on September 20. Further information will be announced by the Meinong Household Registration Office.
