The 2026 Taitung New Year’s Eve Concert will take place on the evening of December 31 at the International Landmark in Taitung City. To build excitement ahead of the event, the Taitung County Government has launched a citywide photo check-in campaign, inviting the public to immerse themselves in the New Year atmosphere. Starting now, five limited-time New Year photo spots have been set up from Taitung Airport to the Tiehua Road area. The Taitung County Government stated that this year’s New Year theme highlights a festive and welcoming atmosphere. The concert will begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue past midnight, featuring visual designs in bright pink, neon green, and ocean blue to symbolize “setting off from the sea and moving toward the light.” Singer aMEI will return to her hometown to headline the event, joined by artists with strong ties to Taitung, including A-Lin, 911, Mavis Fan & 100%, Lee Ying Hong, Miss Ko, Ayal Komod, Sangpuy, Gasiwa, and Saya, presenting a diverse, cross-generational music lineup. 

According to the Cultural Affairs Department, the photo check-in locations include Taitung Airport, Taitung Story Museum, the intersection of Zhonghua Road and Tiehua Road, the intersection of Nanjing Road and Xinsheng Road, and the New Year’s Eve concert venue. Participants can upload photos or videos to Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts with designated hashtags to join the draw. Prizes include round-trip flight tickets between Taipei and Taitung, hotel accommodation vouchers, and limited-edition New Year souvenirs. Winners will be announced online on January 6, 2026.
