The MOL promotes “4 Major Programs” to help the youth find employment:

  1. The "Program for new workers in industries" will subsidize the vocational training fees of new workers in the 5 specific industries, up to a maximum of NT$100,000.
  2. “Learning Incentives” will be offered to young people who attend learning classes. The subsidy for standard classes is NT$3,000 per month, up to a maximum of NT$36,000 per month during the training period. For special policy classes, the subsidy is NT$8,000 per month, up to a maximum of NT$96,000 during the training period.
  3. The “Program for Youth Employment” encourages companies to provide employment with training. The senior employees can guide the new workers to familiarize themselves with their job positions. Aside from helping the youth accumulate skills, the program also helps the companies have a reserve of trained employees. The companies can accept youth applicants from 15 to 29 years of age, with a monthly subsidy of NT$12,000, up to a maximum period of 9 months.
  4. “2021 Youth Employment Incentive Program” (for those with a graduation certificate issued between September 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021), if they meet the requirements on or before “September 30, 2021 (the period of employment starts on June 15, 2021)” or “retired on or before June 30, 2022 and employed within 90 days”. For workers continuously employed by the same employer for 90 days, they can receive a one-time NT$20,000 employment bonus. For those who work for the same employer continuously for 180 days, they can get an additional bonus of NT$10,000, for a total of NT$30,000. Young people who meet these qualifications should take this opportunity to apply.
