To further expand public participation in green consumption, the Ministry of Environment announced that OK Mart has officially joined the Green Point Program, successfully connecting all four major convenience store chains in Taiwan and completing the final piece of the convenience store network. With more than 550 OK Mart stores nationwide now participating, the number of Green Point service locations in convenience stores has exceeded 14,000, forming a denser green consumption network.

The Green Point Program uses point rewards as an incentive. Consumers can earn Green Points by purchasing designated eco-friendly products at participating retailers, with additional bonus rewards offered on weekends. This mechanism encourages consumers to choose low-carbon and sustainable products, allowing environmental actions to naturally integrate into daily shopping habits.

Currently, the Green Point Program connects convenience stores, hypermarkets, electronics retailers, and multiple online shopping platforms. Whether shopping online or in physical stores, consumers can easily accumulate points and redeem them for eco-friendly products or discounts on green services, putting into practice a lifestyle where environmental actions are rewarded.

The Ministry of Environment stated that achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 requires changes in daily lifestyles. Through the Green Point Program, the public is encouraged to start reducing carbon emissions through everyday consumption, turning small changes into a collective impact toward sustainable living.
