As exam season approaches, the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau has launched the &ldquoUltimate Exam Luck Walking Tour,&rdquo and online registration is now open. The tours will take place every Saturday from May 3 to May 24, with four sessions limited to 120 participants. The route focuses on Tainan&rsquos Central and West Districts, guiding participants through five major temples&mdashincluding the Official Martial Temple and the Wenchang Pavilion at Chihkan Tower&mdashending at the Tainan County City God Temple to pray for smooth and successful exams. Mayor Huang Wei-che expressed his hope that the cultural walking experience and blessing rituals will help students mentally prepare for their exams. Participants will also enjoy Tainan&rsquos local delicacies, and registrants will receive a &ldquoSuccess Petition,&rdquo a traditional pong-bing snack, and a special exam-use pencil&mdashadding a touch of good fortune to their academic challenge.

The Southern Region National Taxation Bureau of the Ministry of Finance announced that the 2024 individual income tax filing period will begin on May 1, 2025. Citizens are encouraged to use mobile tax filing, which is now simpler than ever and comes with a nationwide lottery offering over NT$5 million in total prizes.This year&rsquos mobile tax filing system has been further optimized&mdashthere&rsquos no need to download an app or use a card reader. The filing deadline is June 30. A total of 19,586 winners will be randomly drawn in September, with the grand prize being NT$50,000 in cash. To promote the cultural and agricultural charms of Taichung's mountain regions, the Taichung City Hakka Affairs Council has launched the "2025 Taichung Mountain Town Hakka Mini-Tour." Online registration opened at 9 a.m. on April 28. The tours combine local agricultural products, Hakka culture, green ecology, and immersive sensory experiences, inviting citizens to explore Hakka villages nestled in the mountains and connect with nature. The first event, titled &ldquoSweet Journey&mdashIt Must Be You,&rdquo will be held on May 10 and includes peach picking, Hakka cuisine tasting, hiking, and DIY craft activities.
