An anti-drug education exhibition combining interactive games has opened in Hualien. Titled “Deconstructing Addiction-Understanding the Truth Behind Drug Dependence,” the exhibition runs from March 27 to May 23. Through immersive design and puzzle-based experiences, visitors can better understand how addiction develops and affects daily life, making it a suitable educational activity for families and students.

The exhibition is held at the Hualien Cultural and Creative Industries Park and is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, the CTBC Anti-Drug Educational Foundation, and the Hualien County Government. Visitors can participate in an interactive puzzle game called “Memory Agent,” which guides them through the mechanisms of addiction step by step, starting from everyday behaviors and extending to substance and behavioral addictions.

The exhibition is structured around five themes: “Temptation,” “Descent,” “Loss of Control,” “Recovery,” and “Unlocking Addiction.” Through storytelling and scenario-based design, visitors gain insight into the psychological struggles of addiction and its impact on individuals and families. Topics also extend beyond drugs to include issues such as smartphone and gaming addiction.

A dedicated anti-fraud zone highlights five common scam types, including gaming credit scams, fake online shopping, and investment fraud. Using AI recognition concepts and voice alerts, the exhibition demonstrates ways to reduce the risk of scams in everyday life.

The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (closed on Mondays), with regular weekend access. Visitors who complete the challenges can receive small rewards, and special weekend activities are also planned. Group reservations are available for schools to support experiential learning.
